How a little polar bear found great role models
BÄRnie was fascinated by Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt - two athletes who have been celebrating success together for 25 years. He felt their passion, their team spirit and their courage.
And he realised:
Children need to reach these values - playfully, tangibly, with heart.
Now he accompanies the Tobis on their travels around the globe to World Cups and Olympic highlights and brings their message into children's bedrooms.

The polar bear Bärnie
The cheerful polar bear stands for courage, team spirit and true friendship. It bears the BULLYLAND and Wendl & Arlt logos on its fur. Six stars are a reminder of the Olympic victories. The German team armband symbolises solidarity.
A faithful companion for all children who dream big.

About the „Rodeltobis“

The story
Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt („die Rodeltobis“) started tobogganing at the age of 4 and 6 and initially competed against each other as single-seaters.
Even then, the two had something in common: dream of competing in the Olympic Games one day.
This desire accompanied them like a small inner compass - and showed them early on that you can achieve a lot with joy, courage and a vision.

So they became a solid DUO
At the request of their coaches, they finally tried out the double-seater - with surprisingly good results and a lot of fun.
They then competed in singles and doubles at the same time for around 2-3 years and became German champions in both disciplines at youth level. With their promotion to the C squad, the Tobis had to make a decision: Either continue to compete as singles or focus completely on doubles.
The choice was easy for them - they opted for the two-seater and finally became a permanent team.

Successes and awards
For 25 years, the Tobis have formed an unbeatable team and celebrated impressive sporting successes. Thanks to their courage, solidarity and exceptional team spirit, they have already won 6 Olympic gold medals, won the overall World Cup 5 times, won 9 world championship titles and numerous European and German championships - as well as many other honours.
The Tobis are looking forward to the challenges ahead.
